Bacardi think the Chinese market is very important, so they decided to start the Dewar’s Institute of Whiskey in Shanghai ,and will have a tour at more Chinese cities . The Dewar’s Whiskey World Tour originate in China is a huge investment in the Chinese market, Holding the Whiskey Appreciation Week in China's major cities confirmed our commitment to the Chinese market.
The Institute will have a tour in world’s 20 cities. In China, it is sucessfully held in Shanghai, Beijing, Guangzhou, Chengdu success in 2007, one after another came to Nanjing, Shenzhen, Chongqing and other cities in 2008-2009.
Dewar’s Whiskey Appreciation Week is a customized mobility class, it will have a tour in more than 20 cities worldwide, Aimed at helping worldwide consumers learn more about the the Scotch whiskey as wella as Dewar brand.
Generally speaking, whiskey appreciation course is an educational curriculum to guide people to smell and taste of the whiskey. Dewar’s whiskey appreciation week carried out a thorough reformation and rose it to be art. 270 degrees audio-visual system around the room create a modern multi-media cinema classroom, the virtual host have a real-time dialogue and interaction with present brand ambassador, leading people to be personally on the scene to feel Scotland customs and long history, understanding the Dewar’s heritage of the brand. The specific arrangements of the Dewar’s Whiskey Appreciation Course :
First is a cocktail party. When participants arrived at the scene in full, we will lead you into the Dewar’s first created high-tech classroom. The whole lesson would host by the present ambassador together with virtual branch ambassador .First 30 minutes we will watch a video about a Scotch whiskey and Dewar, then we will invite them into the laboratory,learning how to modulate your own whiskey. About 20 minutes later, the students return to classrooms, to participate in a 20-minute mini-lectures, learning more production process about Scotch whiskey. In the final is the tasting link, comparing Dewar’s with other major brands in the Chinese market. The entire process is free of charge. But the participants in activities must conform to China's legal drinking age (18 years old and above).
